3D vs. 360 degree image
360 degree spin
A 360 degree spin image refers to a series of photographies of an item taken from different angles on the same plane, and presented in an interactive format, allowing the user to rotate the item through 360 degrees and zoom on details.
A turntable is used to rotate the product and to create a single row spin, typically between 12 and 72 photographs may be taken. After capture, these individual images can be post-produced before being rendered into a suitable 360 degree viewer format.

3D photography
3D photography or Vertical Access Photography, is a series of images of an item taken from different angles circling the image from above, allowing the user to rotate the item both through 360 degrees and from the top as well.
